Fire Blanket

A Fire blanket can smother a fire, it will not burn, melt or drip and does not cling to skin that has been damaged by a fire.

Fire blankets are suitable for electrical fires, pot stove fires or situations where a persons clothing has been set alight as a result of a fire.

It is compact and easy to install, it should be readily accessible but not to close to the high risk areas as to avoid inaccessibility.

The fire blanket instructions should be read and understood before the need to use.

Fire/Sand Bucket

A fire bucket is used to extinguish fires by filling it with sand, the sand can then be thrown over the fire.

This is particularly useful when there is a lack of water source or water cannot be used to extinguish a fire.

The fire buckets are painted bright red, with the word “Fire” indicated on the bucket.

Key Boxes

These are used for the safe storage of exit door keys, with a break glass function in case of a fire emergency and come in the form of either metal or plastic boxes

Fire Beater

The Fire Beater has a handle with industrial grade rubber beater attached for effective knockdown of bush and field fires.

These fire beaters are availible with either a wooden or aluminium handle.

Home Emergency Fire Kit

This home emergency fire kit is a compact fire protection kit for home use and includes a

0.9m x0.9m fire blanket, a battery operated smoke detector and a 0.6kg Dry Chemical Powder (DCP) disposable fire extinguisher.

This kit contains a wide variation in the contents to the requirements of the area where it may be used and variations in legislation or regulation in a given area.

Redlam Panic Bolt

The Redlam Panic Bolt is made from cast aluminium, Redlam panic bolts are the cost effective way of providing reliable security for internal emergency exits.

Breaking the ceramic tube results in the bolt sliding back automatically and unlocking the door.

This has been designed for interconnecting emergency exit doors.

Safe & Loud Signaling Alarm

The Safe & Loud is lightweight and portable easy to carry alarm, it can be carried by hand, in a pouch attached to a belt or attached to safety equipment.

This alarm is very easily identifiable in cases of emergency because it does not sound like other electronic alarms.

There is up to 80 short bursts in each canister and can be heard up to plus minus 250 meters in good weather conditions.

No electricity or batteries needed and maintenance free.
Contains Non-toxic and Non-flammable gas.
Comes in a 250g pressurised container and has up to 3 year’s shelf life when not used.

Battery Operated Smoke Alarms

These battery operated photoelectric smoke alarms can detect smoldering fires, hours before it bursts into flames. Sources of these fires may include cigarettes burning in furniture, electric wiring melting insultation etc.
